Out of body self surveillance

A sister project of THE THIRD EYE. A white cube performance with wireless self surveillance system.

Two performers shares one point of view from a surveilance camera fixed on a corner of the ceiling. The video image from the camera is wirelessly transmitted to the performers' eyepieces.

Altered space perception and physical coordination

The physical coordination with the perceived space is challenging. The right side and left sides are flipped unlike the intuitive mirror reflection.

 

 

 

 

 

   
   
Wireless video receiver strapped on the performer's back. The peformer sees the recieved video image displayed on the LCD screen on the eyepiece.
   
  Physical interactions require spacial coordination of the two.
