A
casual “tea ceremony” was held at the foot
of a pair of large granite boulders in a rocky desert
canyon behind Andrea Zittel's A-Z
West and near Joshua Tree National Park.
|Infermaria|
(2005)
Four infirmary rooms of an old building were turned
into large camera obscuras to capture the ghosts of
children's memory. The scenic view of the Northern Italian
village outside of the building; mountains, blue sky,
lush trees, and houses appeared inside of the darkend
rooms upside down like dreamlike apparitions.
